Another decal was designed and produced in exactly the same way as for the VFD (lots of measuring again), and was sandwiched between the aluminium and the plexi.

Again, a 4mm drill was used to punch the bolt holes, and a scalpel used on the larger holes for the switches.

This assembly was then bolted to the case using some of the M4 X 20 Torx bolts left over from the VFD, and the switches dropped into place.

The metal retainer that held the original power buttons in place was cut to accommodate the switches. This was reused because it holds the light pipes for the power and HDD activity lights in place.

A wiring loom made up of an old female Molex and some more left over case wire from my parts box was soldered together, and a sticky pad and zip tie was used to secure it to the retainer.

The Molex plugs allow you to still completely remove the front panel.
